Ramon Moreno was a Principal Dancer with Ballet San Jose from 1999 until his retirement in 2014. He received his ballet training at Havana's renowned Escuela Nacional de Artes, where he earned the titles of Professional Dancer and Professor. Ramon is also a Primary through Level 5 graduate of the American Ballet Theater National Training Curriculum. Following his training in Cuba, he competed extensively in international competitions, winning seven medals, four of which were gold. Mr. Moreno, the Ramon Moreno School of Ballet's Artistic Director and Founder, is currently teaching the Youth Program as well as Open courses. He is a skilled and motivating teacher who is in high demand for coaching and training for competitions and performances by aspiring professional dancers and serious ballet students of all ages.
